Burn Fat Successfully
The formula for burning fat is really simple. Eat less and exercise more. But in reality it is not that simple is it?
Long term weight loss isn’t impossible, but you do have to be committed to the program. You need a weight loss plan to succeed. Here are ten items that should be included in your plan.
- Eat breakfast. Eating this meal will help you to keep from getting hungry later and losing control of your food choices for the day.
- Keep you refrigerator and cupboards stocked with healthy foods and snacks and limit high fat, high salt snacks such as potato chips and cookies.
- Eat foods like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. These high fiber foods will fill you up[ and leave less room for more unhealthy foods.
- Don’t let weekends allow you to make poor choices. Many people will do very well during the week and then fall into bad habits on the weekends. This can cause you to lose all of the gains you made during the week.
- Monitor the size of your portions. You need to look at your perception of a portion size. As you initially start your plan you should measure your food accurately until you learn what is a normal portion size.
- Make lifestyle goals not weight loss goals. A commitment to eating healthy foods will lead to a gradual sustainable weight loss and a healthier life for you. If you look at your weight daily you may soon become discouraged if you don’t see the changes you want quickly.
- Carry healthy snacks with you on road trips. This will help you avoid the temptation of poor choices when out.
- Don’t deny yourself all of the foods you love. If you love chocolate make plans to include it in your diet. You will stand a better chance of succeeding if you do this but make sure you plan ahead and adjust your intake for this.
- Get yourself moving. Exercise in some form will help you burn fat more quickly. It doesn’t have to be a killer regimen. Take a walk everyday and increase the length of it as you are able. Then move to more exerting exercises as you are able.
- Keep a record of your food and your exercise. Write down how you feel each day and your moods while you work on burning the fat. This will help you know what foods make you feel better and lead you to success.
You will burn fat by using both diet and exercise. It is also achieved by persistence and always getting back on the horse if you fall off for a day. Don’t give up because you had a bad day just pick yourself up and go forward.
